This role will be based in the LCCI Commercial BI&A; team and work closely with the NAPAC (Australia, Recent Zealand, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan) BI&A;/OCE team to provide high-quality market intelligence support to drive better customer experience and business impact. NAPAC BI&A; team is we'll established and works closely with brand teams to provide data insights and enable informed decision-making.
Project Execution:
- Build and exhibit deep expertise on available data sets and supports data-enabled decision-making using data from external suppliers in NAPAC and internal data from various other sources.
Consistent delivery of high-quality, timely, and insightful reports to enable brand and senior leadership to track the performance of Eli Lilly brands.
- Develop and publish regular market intelligence reports on KPIs related to Sales, sales growth, wholesaler inventory, market share, market growth, sales force activity, P2P and non-personal channel promotional impressions and engagement metrics, etc
Work on prescriptive and predictive analytical models to answer unstructured questions from the business.
- Map physicians journey in an omnichannel environment
- Understand the preferred communication channel for a physician.
- Calculate ROI of various marketing tactics.
- Developing into a trusted advisor by actively participating in various phases of the project, including kick-off, methodology development, execution, insight generation and data visualization, and results presentation to various stakeholders
- Find and execute opportunities for productivity improvements by automation or process changes.
Requirements
- Preferred degree in sciences or quantitative discipline, ie, Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Sciences
- At least 3-5 years of evolving experience in business/market intelligence, performance reporting, and descriptive analytics for Marketing or other commercial leadership, with demonstrated results in understanding, structuring, and making sense of unfamiliar and messy datasets in the pharma Industry.
- Experience in working on prescriptive analytical problems like physician journey and behaviour changes, ROI modelling, forecasting.
- Exposure to advanced analytics algorithms to create predictive data models.
- Experience in working with business partners located in another country.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work remotely across time zones.
- Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience of managing and querying data on a range of relational data servers
- Expertise in writing and debugging efficient SQL queries, Python or R (one of them), Excel and VBA
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying Reports, Dashboards, and Apps in Power BI including
- Expertise in Power BI DAX and Power Query M-Code
- Solid understanding of Data warehousing and BI concepts & building Data Models in Power BI.
- Alteryx/KNIME experience highly desirable
- Experience with the following technologies: Cloud platforms like AWS & Azure
- Experience in business analytics tasks like data cleaning, preparation, and basics of good reporting
- Experience in pharmaceutical forecasting is good to have
