Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for overseeing the technical operations,
maintenance, and overall upkeep of a commercial building’s infrastructure. The
role involves managing maintenance teams, coordinating with contractors and
vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements, and
maintaining efficient building operations to provide a secure, functional, and
comfortable environment for occupants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management:
* Oversee maintenance and operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, fire
safety, civil, and other building systems.
* Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance
schedules.
* Ensure timely response and resolution of building system issues and
emergencies.
* Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for repairs,
servicing, and upgrades.
Team Leadership:
* Lead, supervise, and mentor the maintenance team.
* Plan duty rosters and assign daily maintenance tasks.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback and training.
Safety and Compliance:
* Ensure all building systems comply with local, state, and central
regulations.
* Conduct routine safety inspections and address identified risks or hazards.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities,
certifications, and repairs.
Energy Management:
* Monitor energy consumption and optimize system efficiency.
* Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability measures.
* Track, analyze, and report energy usage and cost savings.
Budget and Cost Management:
* Prepare and manage the maintenance and utilities budget.
* Monitor expenses and approve maintenance-related expenditures.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
Project Management:
* Plan and oversee capital improvement and renovation
