- Collaborate on integrations with hardware/device interfaces, vendor SDKs, and messaging/queuing systems support compatibility testing and coordinated software/firmware rollouts.
- Apply secure coding practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets handling) and follow internal risk/compliance requirements remediate findings with guidance from senior engineers.
- Contribute to modernization efforts (e.g., microservices, event‑driven workflows) by implementing components, refactoring legacy modules, and reducing technical debt.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (unit/integration/contract) instrument services for metrics, logs, and traces contribute to SLO dashboards and alerts.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, triage production incidents, and contribute to post‑mortems and corrective actions.
- Write clear documentation for designs, runbooks, and operational procedures follow established coding standards and patterns provide peer code reviews.
- Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed,
and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
