Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
nBusiness Development Strategy
n• Identify, and analyse the opportunities through defence procurement plans, RFPs, and
nindustry intelligence.
n• Finalise the positioning by aligning company capabilities with requirements of
ncustomers.
n• Establish and nurture relationships with procurement of Defence PSUs and private
ncompanies' agencies, DRDO labs, shipyards, and system integrators.
n• Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to refine capture strategies.
nProposal & Capture Management
n• Conduct kick-off meeting to explain the business opportunities to the stakeholder and
ncross-functional teams.
n• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, supply chain, operations
n& finance) to arrive at the costing.
n• Arrange meeting with stakeholders to derive the win themes, value propositions, and
npricing strategies tailored to company priorities.
n• Prepare compliant proposals with all the assumptions, risks and mitigation plan.




n• Ensure timely submission of proposals with complete technical and commercial
ndocumentation.
n• Track bid progress and customer feedback for order booking.
nEngineering Activities
n• Closely work with the design team to translate RFQ inputs into system-level
narchitectures and technical solutions.
n• Coordinate with the design team to prepare the RFQ Bill of Materials from the
ncustomer inputs and circulate to cross-functional teams for cost estimation.
n• Provide technical inputs for proposals, including performance specifications,
nintegration strategies, and lifecycle support.
n• Collaborate with D&D; to adapt the design documents into engineering documents and
nsystem setup.
n• Upon order receipt, finalise the Production BoM and SAP system setup. Coordinate
nwith cross-functional team to build the prototypes.
n• Ensure the compliance of the product with defence standards, and qualification
nrequirements (MIL-STD, JSS, etc.).
