nAbout the Role
nAmity University, Ranchi is looking for a qualified and research-oriented Assistant Professor of Economics who is passionate about teaching, research, and student development.
nKey Responsibilities

- Teach Economics courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.n
- Prepare lectures, course materials, assignments, and examinations.n
- Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities.n
- Conduct and publish high-quality research in reputed journals.n
- Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programmes.n
- Develop research projects and seek external research funding.n
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental academic activities.n

nQualification

- Ph.D. in Economics or a relevant discipline is mandatory.n
- Master's degree in Economics or a related field with a strong academic record.n




- Candidates should meet applicable UGC and university eligibility norms.n

nPreferred Profile

- n
- Robust research and publication record, preferably in Scopus/Web of Science-indexed journals.n
- Good knowledge of Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, and Economic Research.n
- Experience with software such as R, Python, Stata, EViews, or SPSS will be an advantage.n
- Teaching or research experience in a university/college/research institution is preferred.n
- Robust communication, analytical, and academic writing skills.n
