Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer – L2 responsible for advanced troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, and support of enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching and advanced knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and related networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide L2-level support for enterprise network infrastructure.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of network incidents and connectivity issues.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Routers and Switches.
- Solid hands-on experience in Routing & Switching.
- Configure and troubleshoot OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Troubleshoot routing issues, route redistribution, neighbor relationships, and routing tables.
- Configure and troubleshoot VLAN, VTP, STP, Trunking, EtherChannel and Inter-VLAN Routing.
- Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
- Analyze network performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Handle escalated incidents from L1 teams and provide technical resolution.




- Perform network device configuration changes and upgrades.
- Participate in network implementation, migration, and change activities.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring network issues.
- Maintain network diagrams, configuration documents, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with L3 teams, vendors, and other technical teams for complex issues.
- Ensure incidents and changes are resolved within agreed SLAs.

Mandatory Skills:

- CCNA or CCNP certification – Mandatory.
- CCNP preferred for L2-level roles.
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Routing & Switching.
- Strong hands-on experience with OSPF and BGP.
- Hands-on experience with VTP, VLAN, STP, Trunking and EtherChannel.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting and Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Cisco Routers and Switches.
- Good understanding of routing protocols and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to independently handle L2 network incidents.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in enterprise/data center network environments.
- Knowledge of HSRP/VRRP.
- Knowledge of DHCP, DNS and NAT.
- Experience with network monitoring and ticketing tools.
- ITIL knowledge/certification
