Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Design & Drafting Associate to bridge the gap between conceptual ideation and technical execution. Key Responsibilities

- Technical Drawing Production: Develop comprehensive AutoCAD documentation, including detailed plans, sections, elevations, and component details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

- Conceptual Translation: Convert rough sketches, reference materials, and verbal design directives into refined, workable layout configurations.

- Spatial Planning Support: Facilitate interior space planning and furniture arrangement strategies, with a specific focus on hospitality and resort developments.

- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Serve as a central coordination point for drawing exchanges among various architects and external consultants to ensure seamless project integration.

- Documentation Management: Uphold strict drawing standards, manage layering protocols, and maintain rigorous version control across all project file repositories.

- 3D Visualization:



Generate preliminary 3D models using tools such as SketchUp to provide stakeholders with immediate visual context for design concepts.

- Quantity Surveying Assistance: Provide support in compiling Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and conducting material take-offs to aid in cost estimation and procurement.

- Drawing Accuracy: Achievement of zero critical errors in final deliverables during client or consultant reviews.

- Project Turnaround: Adherence to strict deadlines for drawing preparation and revision cycles across all assigned projects.

- Collaboration Efficiency: Timely resolution of coordination queries between design teams and consultants.

- Standard Compliance: 100% adherence to firm-wide layering, naming conventions, and version control protocols.

- Visual Output Quality: Consistent delivery of clear and professional 3D visualizations that effectively communicate design intent.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Core Competencies: Demonstrable mastery of AutoCAD is essential, coupled with the ability to analyze and enhance design concepts rather than simply executing instructions.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in basic 3D modeling software, with SketchUp experience being highly advantageous.

- Spatial Intelligence: A strong grasp of spatial relationships, circulation,



and layout optimization.

- Experience Level: Candidates with 4 to 10 years of industry experience are preferred; however, exceptional fresh graduates with a robust portfolio may be considered.

- Operational Style: A highly organized professional with acute attention to detail, capable of managing multiple concurrent workflows without compromising quality.

- Portfolio Requirement: Submission of a professional portfolio or work samples that explicitly showcases advanced AutoCAD capabilities is mandatory for shortlisting.

Additional Qualifications

- Education: A degree or diploma in Design, or a related field.

- Industry Background: Prior experience within an architecture studio or design consultancy
