Key Responsibilities
* Cable & Wire Inspection: Inspect raw materials (copper, aluminum, PVC compounds) and finished cables (Power, Control, House Wires). * In-Process Quality Testing: Perform high-voltage, insulation resistance, conductor resistance, and tensile strength tests. * Shop-Floor Supervision: Monitor line production to ensure zero-defect standards and compliance with SOPs. * Defect Analysis: Identify manufacturing non-conformances and execute CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions). * Reporting & Audits: Prepare Daily Inspection Reports (DIR) and assist during client and third-party quality audits.
Key Skills
* Technical: Cable Testing Protocols, Wire & Cable Manufacturing Standards (IS/IEC), IQC/OQC Inspection. * Quality Tools: Root Cause Analysis, 7 QC Tools, CAPA, Quality Documentation. * Equipment Handling: Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Megger/Insulation Tester, HV Test Kit.
