Role Overview:At PwC, as an Associate in the audit and assurance team, your focus will be on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance credibility and reliability with various stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include evaluating compliance with regulations, assessing governance and risk management processes, and related controls. In financial statement audit, your main objective will be to ensure the financial statements are free from material misstatement due to fraud or error and issue an auditors report with your opinion.Key Responsibilities:- Executing various engagements as a field in-charge- Applying The Firms methodology while executing- Engaging with a team to ensure smooth closure of the project on a timely basisQualifications Required:- Thorough technical knowledge on Corporate Law, Accounting Standards, and Tax- Basic knowledge of Indirect tax, FEMA, and Transfer Pricing- General business awareness- Valuable Excel, presentation, and report writing skills- Client handlingAdditional Details:At PwC, you will be part of a purpose-led and values-driven work environment that encourages innovation and technology.
