As an Assistant Vice President for Colleague Services with Barclays Corporate Real Estate Solutions and Location Strategy (CRES & LS) team in Chennai, your role will focus on managing workplace layout and utilization while driving technological innovation in workplace tools to enhance the overall employee experience.Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive employee experience strategies through surveys and engagement initiatives to boost engagement, satisfaction, and retention- Champion initiatives that improve colleague experience, productivity, well-being, engagement, and workplace utilization using technology-enabled solutions- Identify and implement innovative workplace tools that drive continuous improvement, foster collaboration, and support productivity- Develop and maintain business intelligence data encompassing workforce analytics, industry benchmarking, performance metrics, employee satisfaction scores, and space utilization analysis- Support facility management and colleague services budget management, tracking operational performance and service delivery- Be accountable for local facility management strategy and its implications from budget, performance, and service delivery perspectives- Manage local contract management, change control protocols, and risk assurance frameworks- Collaborate to provide operational insight into budget performance and identify ongoing opportunities for strategic decision-making- Contribute to regional supplier management activities, manage relationships with supplier local leads, monitor KPIs, financial outputs, and ensure performance metrics align with delivery objectives- Serve as the primary relationship manager for stakeholder feedback and delivery model performanceQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Real Estate Management,



Business Administration, or a related field (masters degree preferred)- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible facility management experience, ideally in corporate real estate or commercial property management contexts- Deep technical knowledge of facilities management and comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape- Exceptional customer focus, robust CRM capabilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills- Strong interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers- Analytical mindset, high numeracy levels, attention to detail, and stakeholder management skills- Strong leadership skills to advise, influence decision-making, and contribute to operational effectivenessOur Culture and Values:All colleagues at Barclays are expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship.
