Role Overview:You will be part of the EU Vehicle CyberSecurity team, collaborating closely with vehicle & software engineers to ensure a security by design approach in product development. The team guides vehicle programs teams to meet all regulatory requirements for Product Cybersecurity, with a focus on ensuring vehicles can be type approved. Based in Dunton, Niehl, and Chennai, you will work in cooperation with global product cyber security teams and hold lead responsibility for various UNECE R155 regulated vehicle programs. Your role will involve promoting security aspects and managing relationships with regional program groups.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the coordination and cybersecurity deliverables for assigned vehicle programs under guidance.- Track and validate cyber security artefacts at key program milestones.- Facilitate communication with entity engineers, test teams, and other groups within the vehicle cyber security team.- Support communication with the program stakeholder group, including reporting and presenting to the management team.- Contribute to continuous process improvement by developing expertise in one segment, formulating actionable ideas, and coaching others.- Stay updated on industry developments, identify learning opportunities, and complete relevant training to manage your own learning effectively.Qualifications:- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.- Ability to handle ambiguity and prioritize work effectively.- Strong quality mindset with a drive to deliver on schedule.- Curiosity, appetite for continuous learning,
and willingness to adapt work patterns.- Understanding of basic cyber security principles and best practices.- Previous experience in Vehicle Cyber-Security or product development is advantageous.- Knowledge or awareness of PD workflows and tools (e.g. GPDS, VSEM, JIRA, JAMA, FEDE), vehicle product development life cycles, vehicle-based security protocols, software delivery lifecycles, ISP, Security and Controls, security design techniques, and regulatory framework for type approval and associated ISO Standards (ISO21434) is beneficial.Additional Company Details:You will join a vibrant and diverse team of 9 program and entity engineers committed to quality, equity, personal, and professional development.
