As a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience, your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks. You will be responsible for the following key roles and responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure efficient testing processes.- Perform UI automation using Java Selenium to validate the functionality and user interface of applications.- Conduct API automation using Java Rest Assured to test the functionality and performance of APIs.- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand and meet testing requirements.- Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution to maintain product quality.- Analyze testing needs and recommend appropriate automation approaches for efficient testing.- Participate actively in test planning, estimation, and retrospectives to improve testing processes.- Ensure strict adherence to QA processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.The qualifications required for this role include:- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA Automation.- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.- Hands-on experience with Java & Selenium for UI test automation and Java & Rest Assured for API test automation.- Experience with test planning, execution, and reporting.- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and version control systems like Git.- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins is an advantage.- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively.Preferred qualifications for this role include:- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.- Knowledge of performance testing tools.- Exposure to Cloud or container environments such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.In addition to the above, hands-on experience with AI-driven automation tools like ACCELQ, TestSigma, Testim, Functionize, or similar platforms is preferred for this position.
