As a Strategic Procurement Manager at our leading client, a US major diversified Industrial Company with a technology partnership to the global steel, energy, and railway sector across 32 countries, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement lifecycle to drive optimal value for the business.Key Responsibilities:- Utilize expertise in category buying, service agreement finalization, and equipment leasing/renting to support operational and strategic objectives with a focus on engineering and industry experience.- Demonstrate proficiency in strategic procurement, contract management, negotiation, and financial analysis related to equipment leasing and renting.- Engage in activities such as imports, working with freight forwarders, CHA agents, customs clearance, and logistics to ensure smooth procurement processes.- Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments and data-driven decision-making to optimize procurement strategies.- Ensure compliance with safety and statutory regulations while managing risks, defining commercial terms, and driving business value.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organizational needs.- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes by implementing innovative solutions for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness and leveraging digital tools and analytics.Qualifications Required:- More than 15 years of experience in procurement roles.- Educational qualifications of BE/B.
