As a Sports and Performance Psychologist at Reliance Foundation Young Champs Academy, your role will involve providing psychological assessments, counseling, and mental health support to athletes. You will play a crucial part in helping athletes improve their performance and overall well-being. Your key responsibilities will include:- Conducting individualized sessions to address specific needs of athletes- Designing and implementing mental conditioning programs for enhancing performance- Performing psychological assessments to understand athletes mental states- Collaborating with coaches, medical staff, and management to ensure holistic support- Monitoring athletes psychological progress and integrating evidence-based practices into training and recovery plansTo excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- A strong foundation in Psychology with expertise in areas like Mental Health and Counseling- Proficiency in conducting Psychological Assessments and applying evidence-based interventions- Basic understanding of medical principles relevant to athlete mental health and performance- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and interdisciplinary teams- A Masters or Doctoral degree in Sports Psychology- Prior experience of 3-4 years working with athletes is highly desirable- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and manage multiple priorities effectivelySince the role is heavily focused on sports psychology related to football, it is essential for you to be well-versed with the sport. As a full-time in office psychologist at the residential academy in Navi Mumbai, you will be actively involved in the holistic development of elite youth athletes. Your commitment to working 6 days a week, including daily training sessions and competitive matches, will contribute significantly to the growth and success of the athletes.
