About the Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Ecommerce Manager – Marketplace for a leading fashion company in Chennai. This role is critical in driving growth across leading platforms such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and others. The ideal candidate will bring strong account management expertise, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in fashion or beauty e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Planning: Develop annual marketplace business plans, align joint business plans with partners, and achieve net sales targets.
- P&L; Management: Own the Partner Program P&L;, optimize markdowns, reduce returns, and manage overhead costs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with digital marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure brand priorities, stock coverage, and accurate forecasting.
- Catalogue & Operations: Oversee product listings, campaign readiness, and reconciliation for smooth marketplace operations.

Skills & Competencies




- Robust marketplace operations in Flipkart and Myntra experience.
- Broad functional knowledge in Sales, operations, finance, and digital consumer experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- High commercial acumen with the ability to zoom into details while keeping strategic goals in mind.
- Comfort with Data Analysis to drive decisions.
- Proven track record of delivering against sales targets.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or sales.
- Minimum 5+ years in marketplace management.
- At least 3 years of people management experience.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Basic knowledge of tools like Helium and Semrush.
- Prior experience in digital roles is preferred.

Note: The interested professional with relevant experience should be comfortable relocating to Chennai.
