About the Role:
We are looking for a highly ownership-driven Backend Engineer who thrives in building scalable systems and taking end-to-end responsibility for outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who values autonomy, moves decisively, and builds with long-term system reliability and observability in mind.
Key Responsibilities
● Own end-to-end delivery of backend systems, focusing on outcomes rather than just task completion
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems
● Make independent architectural and technical decisions with accountability
● Write clean, maintainable, and production grade code
● Build systems with strong observability (logging, monitoring, tracing) from the ground up
● Ensure performance optimization and APM awareness across services
● Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to deliver robust solutions
● Leverage AI tools effectively as part of the development workflow (not as a substitute for critical thinking)
Required Skills & Experience
● 2–9 years of experience in backend development
● Solid proficiency in Python and/or Go
● Hands on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
● Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ
● Solid understanding of databases including PostgreSQL, Redis, and ClickHouse (OLTP & OLAP systems)
● Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems
● Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
