We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant/Bookkeeper to oversee our financial audits and ensure compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, receipts, and documentation for all transactions.
- Budget Support: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure financial practices comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Recommend improvements to accounting workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Tax Support: Assist with preparation and organization of financial data for tax filings and work with external tax professionals as needed.
- Software Management: Use financial software such as QuickBooks Online to manage company accounts and generate reports.
- Internal Controls: Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong background in inventory management, including accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy in record-keeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
