The Role
We are looking for Backend Software Engineers with solid Node.js expertise to build and scale our cross-border payments platform. You will work on high-throughput, security-critical backend systems that sit at the intersection of traditional financial infrastructure and blockchain settlement rails.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend services using Node.js
- Implement transaction orchestration logic across blockchain rails, payment partners, and compliance systems
- Build event-driven workflows to manage transaction lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and retries
- Integrate with blockchain RPCs, off-chain financial APIs, and third-party service providers
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ship production-ready features
- Write clean, testable,



and well-documented code suitable for regulated financial environments

Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience building backend systems using Node.js
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or event-based services
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, queues, and message brokers
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar)
- Strong fundamentals in system design, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience working with financial workflows
- Ability to work in a globally distributed team, within a fast-growing start-up
