As an Inventory Controller LSC National Senior Analyst at the Lubricants Business, your role will involve ensuring stock integrity and accuracy through daily and monthly stock counts and reconciliation. You will also be responsible for assisting in clearing out redundant or damaged stock in the warehouse to maintain an accurate reflection of physical stock in the JDE system.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct monthly stock counts at Durban Hub and other LSC depots to ensure stock integrity.- Align JDE Book and physical stock through reconciliation processes.- Manage disposal of non-conforming inventory and process inventory adjustments as per LSC requirements.- Raise third-party claims for in-transit damages and product loss accurately and on time.- Monitor daily in-transit finished goods across all depots and manage stock allocations and replenishment for KAS depots.- Raise base oil invoices for third-party suppliers and ensure compliance with warehouse and safety standards.- Support Warehouse Logistics Manager in ensuring compliance with HSSE standards and managing performance.Qualifications Required:- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume warehouse.- Sound knowledge of stock management and control processes.- Working knowledge of JDE ERP systems and intermediate computer literacy.- Tertiary qualification in Stock and/or Warehouse Management.- Ability to understand electronic interfaces between ERP systems.Additionally, you will be expected to provide advice and information to team members, maintain relationships with warehouse operators, and operate within specific guidelines, policies, and procedures.
