As an Engineer (PCB Design) based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of printed circuit boards. Your responsibilities will include:- Utilizing hands-on experience in Altium/Allegro (Capture, PCB editor) or equivalent Layout and Capture tools- Planning, executing, and closing assigned activities with precision- Collaborating with manufacturing, product teams, PCB fab vendors, and suppliers to develop designs and address Design for Manufacturing, Design For Testing, Design For Assembly issues- Leading smaller projects effectively and ensuring adherence to Printed Circuit Board design processes and review processes- Demonstrating expertise in electrical & electronic components such as Surface Mount & through Hole- Creating footprints, following IPC Standards like IPC2221A, IPC-SM-782, and IPC 7351, UL and MIL standards, managing PCB libraries, preparing schematics, and performing layout design- Having awareness of CIS / CIP database, thermal management, Enclosure designs, and PCB manufacturing processes- Validating Gerbers using CAM350 and understanding PCB design guidelines for EMI / EMC aspects- Conducting hardware testing, high speed board designs, Signal Integrity & Power Integrity analysis using Ansys or equivalent tools- Applying automotive domain knowledge for High power Layout designs- Demonstrating valuable interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsYour qualifications should include a Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Electrical Engineering, along with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience. Additionally, you should have a sound knowledge of PCB design principles, components, and standards to excel in this role.
