As a Software Security Architect 4 at Hyland Software, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the companys products and services by ensuring secure design, rigorous testing, and proactive vulnerability management. Your responsibilities will include:- Providing transparent guidance and mentorship to ensure software and test engineers understand secure software development practices and how to identify insecure code. You will leverage data to monitor the effectiveness of these practices and update them as needed.- Driving the use of threat modeling for the products in scope, reviewing threat models, and providing guidance on appropriate tools and techniques. You will also create or contribute to system level threat models.- Reviewing determinations of security findings and serving as the primary approver for determination of Not Exploitable for Critical and High severity Findings for assigned products.- Monitoring the status of vulnerability remediation for adherence to company specified SLAs for remediation timelines.- Providing guidance on review and approval of Risk Acceptance requests for vulnerabilities that will not be remediated within target SLAs.- Regularly reviewing and validating the effectiveness of security verification tools to ensure consistent application.- Serving as the primary contact for security-related questions for assigned products and coordinating with SMEs as needed.- Fostering and participating in a community of security best practices within the company to promote a culture of security.- Operating as a trusted advisor on security issues and trends, providing general secure development consulting services and mentoring team members.- Working across time zones with US, India,
