You are an experienced L2 Support Engineer who will be responsible for providing support for production systems and resolving issues within defined SLAs. Your key responsibilities will include:- Provide L2 application support for production systems and resolve issues within defined SLAs- Analyse application logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes- Work closely with L1, L3, and Cloud teams for incident resolution and enhancements- Support and maintain containerized applications deployed on GCP and Kubernetes- Handle database queries, analysis, and optimizations- Assist in deployment, monitoring, and operational stability of services- Ensure high availability and performance of billable applications- Participate in on-call rotations and escalation handling when requiredIn order to qualify for this role, you must meet the following mandatory skills & qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience- Strong proficiency in Core Python- Experience with Flask Framework- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)- Valuable working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker- Strong database skills with SQL and PostgreSQL- Experience with OCR technologies- Knowledge of RabbitMQ messaging queue- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAdditionally, the following skills would be considered as a plus:- Experience with CI/CD pipelines- Familiarity with Google Vision API- Experience with Google Document AI- Exposure to production monitoring and alerting toolsThis job requires someone with a strong backend development and cloud experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
