Role Overview:As a Team Member (DM / Manager) for Payable Accounting, your main responsibility will be to have a fundamental knowledge of payables accounting principles, accounting standards, and tax laws in compliance with applicable statutory requirements. You will review and process payments of invoices through the Accounts Payable (AP Module) of ERP/SAP. It will be your duty to ensure completeness and adequacy of supporting documents for payment documents received from Business Users as per internal control standards and compliances with respect to GST & TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances like MSME, along with processing and documentation for foreign payments like ocean freight. Additionally, you will be involved in monthly and quarterly AP closing activities in compliance with applicable accounting standards, including preparation of required schedules and ensuring statutory and internal audits for all assigned work areas.
