Role Overview:As the Product Supply Chain Functional Leader, you will be responsible for executing the development and implementation of global & regional supply chain plans, initiatives, and activities to drive flawless NPD and Cost Optimization programs for a Strategic Business Unit (SBU). You will work collaboratively across a highly-matrixed organization to meet targets for COST, QUALITY, DELIVERY, SPEED, and CASH for manufacturing plants and fulfillment centers. Additionally, you will drive Category Strategy and Supplier consolidation while leading a team of Product Supply Chain Leaders (PSCL) to deliver Net Savings and DPO Targets.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Product Supply Chain Leaders, internal and external suppliers, Operations, and strategic product business units to create end-to-end supply chain plans and network designs that support product launches.- Develop and execute supply chain plans by implementing supply chain processes using the Understand - Design - Plan Execute methodology.- Track and improve supply chain SQDCCC metrics, focusing on Supplier Performance and continuous improvement initiatives.- Strengthen relationships with key suppliers, plan for growth and capacity requirements, and drive efficiencies and cost reductions.- Understand cost drivers for materials & services, develop Cost Reduction initiatives, and collaborate on inventory planning and supplier selection.- Plan for supplier growth, capacity requirements,
and readiness for new product launches.- Engage with engineering community to drive design improvements and cost reductions.- Optimize supply and distribution networks for short lead times and delivery frequency.- Ensure regulatory compliance within the supply base and support product costing.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Technical, or Business.- Fluent in English.- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Operations management, Materials management, Sourcing, or Engineering.- Experience within manufacturing preferred, including exposure to engineering, sales/marketing, and warehousing/distribution.- Strong negotiation, project management, planning, and analytics skills.- Persuasive communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, global sourcing, and logistics optimization.- Experience in lean manufacturing and working with ERP software applications like SAP or Oracle.
