Role Overview:As a Bank Loan Specialist, Associate 2 at State Street, you will play a crucial role in supporting and assisting Client Operations and other operational Shared Service teams/ Center of Excellence (COEs). Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and process custody related events accurately and timely, ensuring prompt follow-up on exception situations to deliver excellent service to clients.Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily maintenance and record-keeping for Syndicated Bank Loans held in various Mutual Fund and other Structured portfolios for various SSC clients- Process trades, book receipts and disbursements- Reconcile cash balances on a daily basis- Produce daily roll-forward proof of portfolio holdings and accrual information- Prepare standard and ad hoc reporting for internal and external customers- Respond to customer queries daily- Process bank loan notices received from agent banks- Interact with the Investment Manager on assigned portfolios, input/settle trades, perform ad hoc requests, and provide daily reporting per client guidelines- Work closely with mutual fund counterparts to provide Loan-related reports for NAV Calculation- Identify and report any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity in accordance with corporate policyQualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree in Commerce / Economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance, or another Financial-related program- Inter C.A. / Inter ICWAI or CFA (pursuing) will be preferred- 1-3 years experience in accounting, finance, mutual fund operations, loan servicing, or related careers (preferred)Additional Details:State Street is one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers, and asset intelligence companies globally.
