As a Digital Test Engineer / SDET, your role involves being hands-on, quality-focused, and experienced in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. Your primary responsibilities include:- Designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases for web and mobile applications.- Contributing to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.- Performing functional, regression, cross-browser, and responsive testing.- Executing and validating API tests using industry-standard tools.- Collaborating closely with developers and DevOps teams to identify defects early.- Participating in Agile ceremonies and supporting continuous quality improvement.- Logging, tracking, and verifying defects using defect management tools.- Supporting CI/CD pipelines by executing automated tests and analyzing results.In order to excel in this role, you are required to possess the following skills and qualifications:- 4 to 7 years of experience in Digital Testing / SDET / Automation Testing.- Strong experience in Web and Mobile Application Testing (Android & iOS).- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium.- Working knowledge of Cypress or Playwright is a plus.- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.- Experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or Swagger.- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps).- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
