As a Cyber Security Junior Analyst in the Risk department of the SOC/RISK function in Mumbai, your role involves:- Monitoring SIEM Alerts on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis, including Night Shifts on a rotational roster.- Investigating Alerts Detected and conducting Incident Response.- Documenting & reporting relevant Incidents to the concerned Resolver Groups using Ticketing Tools.- Monitoring Network Traffic, performing Threat Hunting to identify compromised systems, negate denial of service attacks, and highlight resource abuse / exploitation.- Escalating Incidents in case the SLA leads to a breach in resolution time.- Monitoring the health & performance of the SIEM & other Security Tools.- Following the Incident Response Management workflow.- Collaborating with other SOC Analysts within the team to enhance SOC Tools, Processes & Procedures to improve SOC efficiency.Additionally, as part of your Secondary Responsibilities, you will be expected to deliver on tasks essential for the role beyond the primary ones.Qualification Required:- Relevant educational background or certification in Cyber Security.- Prior experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.Key Success Metrics:- Analyzing Alerts as notable incidents for further analysis by the Security analyst.This job does not mention any additional details about the company.
