Role Overview:As a Senior Procurement Specialist at McDermott, you will utilize best practices and in-depth knowledge to enhance the Procurement discipline within the organization. You will serve as a valuable resource for colleagues with less experience, sharing your expertise in both theory and practice related to Procurement. You will have a significant impact on various customer, operational, project, or service activities within the Procurement team and other related teams, ensuring adherence to guidelines and policies.Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of the Supply Chain function within the Project Management Team- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement project requirements, maintaining a crucial interface with clients and vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project milestones- Lead the procurement strategy within the Project Management Team, incorporating all contract requirements and negotiating to include necessary Project flow-down conditions for risk mitigation- Develop a comprehensive Project Procurement execution plan with the support of the supply chain function, encompassing purchasing, expediting, logistics, communication, and project objectives- Identify and address client needs related to all supply chain/procurement requirements, serving as the primary point of contact with clients for such needs- Timely identification of issues and development of corrective action plans for resolution- Participation in resolving disputes, claims, and performance matters- Ensure effective and timely status reporting,
