The role involves monitoring irrigation systems, assisting in scheduling, and ensuring efficient water management practices on the farmKey ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and executing daily irrigation schedules based on crop requirements and weather conditionsMonitor irrigation systems such as drip, sprinkler, and flood irrigation for proper functioningEnsure timely watering of crops to maintain soil moisture levelsInspect pipelines, valves, pumps, and other irrigation equipment regularlyIdentify and report leaks, damages, or inefficiencies in the irrigation systemMaintain records of water usage, irrigation schedules, and system performanceSupport installation and maintenance of irrigation infrastructureCoordinate with farm workers to ensure proper irrigation practices are followedFollow sustainable water management practices and minimize wastageAssist in soil moisture testing and basic agronomic activitiesNursery & Plant Propagation ResponsibilitiesPerform grafting, budding, air layering,



and other plant propagation techniques for fruit, ornamental, and landscape plantsPrepare and maintain mother plants for propagation activitiesMonitor success rates of grafting and air layering operations and ensure proper aftercareAssist in seed germination, cutting propagation, transplanting, and nursery plant productionIdentify suitable plant species for propagation based on seasonal requirementsMaintain propagation tools, equipment, and nursery infrastructure in positive conditionEnsure proper labeling, tracking, and inventory management of propagated plantsMonitor plant health and implement preventive measures against pests and diseasesSupport development and maintenance of nursery stock, landscaping plants, shrubs, trees, and flowering plantsAssist in planning and execution of plantation, garden development, and beautification projectsRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s/ Master's degree in Agriculture, Irrigation Management, or related field2+ years of experience in farm operations or irrigationBasic knowledge of irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, etc.)Understanding of crop water requirements and soil typesAbility to work in outdoor farm conditionsGood observation and problem-solving skillsBasic record-keeping and reporting ability
