Temporary Accountant – 3 MonthsPosition: Temporary AccountantDuration: 3 MonthsEmployment Type: Temporary / ContractJob location- Kochi, Kerala, IndiaJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Accountant for a 3-month temporary assignment to focus on account reconciliation, clearing opening balances, and resolving outstanding accounting issues .Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile opening balances, customer, vendor, intercompany, and General Ledger accounts .Investigate and clear old, outstanding, duplicate, or unexplained balances .Review balance sheet accounts including advances, deposits, prepayments,



and accruals .Identify discrepancies and pass approved adjustment/rectification entries .Prepare reconciliation statements and maintain proper supporting documentation.Report unreconciled items and issues requiring management action .Complete all assigned reconciliation and cleanup work within the 3-month period.Prepare a final handover/status report.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce .3–5 years of accounting experience , preferably in reconciliation/accounts cleanup.Solid knowledge of account reconciliations and double-entry accounting .Good Excel skills .Tally ERP experience preferred .Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and handle large volumes of accounting data.PreferredImmediate availability and previous experience in accounts cleanup/reconciliation projects will be an advantage.
