Role Description This is a full-time, in office TAXATION & COSTING role based in Odisha, India. The role involves managing direct and indirect tax computations, preparing tax returns, supporting tax audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. The team member will handle costing activities, including cost analysis, cost allocation, variance analysis, and periodic cost reporting for mining and production operations. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records,



coordinating with internal departments and external auditors, preparing MIS reports, and supporting management in decision-making through tax and cost-related insights. The role also requires staying updated on changes in tax regulations and industry costing practices and implementing process improvements where needed.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, income tax, and other applicable statutes.
Experience in costing and cost accounting, including cost analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting.
Proficiency in financial accounting and use of ERP or accounting software for tax and cost data management.
Ability to interpret and apply tax rules, prepare documentation for assessments and audits, and support compliance reviews.
Solid analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
