Role Summary

Member of the DevOps team with responsibility for supporting existing DevOps tools in addition to designing and building new capabilities. This role will primarily be supporting the managed services platform which hosts in-house developed software applications for customers on AWS.

Role Responsibilities
- Work with various Architecture teams to develop frameworks for the DevOps team to improve efficiencies.
- Maintain the existing CI/CD pipeline (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Git, PowerShell).
- Assess and build recent monitoring capabilities across on-premises and cloud-hosted environments.
- Design and implement new automation solutions using existing DevOps tools.
- Manage the design and implementation of new pipelines.
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Background with AWS security solutions such as WAFs and firewalls.
- Understanding of core networking principles and AWS networking technologies such as Transit Gateways.
- Ability to write Terraform code, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripts.




- Understanding of Windows Server Operating System, including:
- Group Policies

- Implement testing and automation tools.
- Work with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Validate software code before implementation.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Assist in managing projects through to completion with the DevOps Manager/Lead.
- Establish KPIs and measure customer experience.
- Provide 2nd-level support for DevOps activities.
- Act as 3rd-level support for all DevOps-related support issues.

Experience & Qualifications
- IT degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience working in a DevOps role.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies.
- Previous experience in Software Engineering and/or IT Operations with significant scri
