The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a DB2 and Oracle Database Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. The Database Lead will be responsible for managing supported Database technologies, both in the cloud and on premises.

you will make an impact by:
- Developing our future database technology strategy and vision for 3M, including cloud opportunities.
- Acting as a Product Owner for multiple database technologies and representing Database teams on cross-functional projects.
- Enabling global “follow the sun” support for Database Technologies & expanding DBS capability for services and support.
- Developing and supporting automation and tools to support database environments, supporting ongoing lifecycle management and ensuring compliance Controls are maintained to protect data.
- Participating in Agile Scrum teams, working as part of the Team to accomplish and oversee the daily support and planned project work & escalating unresolved or critical issues to relevant resolver teams or senior DBAs.
