Job Description:

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager with strong exposure to plant / factory accounting and capital expenditure accounting. The role requires sound knowledge of accounting operations, statutory compliances, indirect and direct tax basics, and robust coordination with project and treasury functions. The candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting, supporting MIS and management reporting, and ensuring accurate accounting control over project and operational transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end capex accounting, including accounting of project-related expenditure, capitalization of assets, CWIP monitoring, and fixed asset accounting.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, vendor accounting, bank accounting, and periodic account reconciliations.
- Coordinate closely with the Projects Team for project cost tracking, invoice verification, accounting classification, capitalization timelines, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Treasury Team for fund flow visibility,



payment planning, banking transactions, and cash / bank related accounting matters.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, management reports, schedules, and financial summaries required by senior management.
- Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, Income Tax and other applicable statutory requirements, including data preparation and coordination for filings.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of audit schedules.
- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and other external stakeholders as required.
- Monitor accounting controls, documentation standards, and compliance discipline across financial transactions.
- Assist in process improvement, ERP / accounting system discipline, and strengthening of internal financial controls.
