How you’ll demonstrate Ownership

About the role

As Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer at Cognite, you will be a key member of the IT team, delivering IT infrastructure engineering across platform configuration, automation, and system integrations.



Working closely with the global IT Infrastructure hub in Norway, you will support and execute on the infrastructure roadmap to help deliver scalable, reliable, and secure systems that support Cognite's ~1,000-person workforce. You will work in an AI-first setting where automation, smart tooling, and continuous improvement are core to how the team operates.

The Impact you bring to Cognite

Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize IT infrastructure platforms across cloud environments (GCP and Azure), contributing to architectural and configuration decisions in line with established best practices and standards
- Build and maintain IaC using GitHub for version control, and develop automation workflows, leveraging AI tooling to reduce manual operations
- Design and manage systems and application integrations using REST APIs
- Support IAM architecture, identity engineering initiatives, and data control standards for
