Job Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Airport Ground Staff. As a member of our ground handling team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the airport. This is an entry-level position, ideal for freshers who are looking to kickstart their career in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters and boarding gates
- Handle baggage and cargo, including loading and unloading from aircraft
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers and handle any inquiries or complaints
- Assist with aircraft pushback and towing
- Conduct safety checks and inspections of the aircraft and ground equipment
- Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure timely and efficient operations
- Adhere to all safety and security regulations and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy baggage and cargo
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus
- No prior experience required, training will be provided
Contract Details:
This is a full time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The contract will be for an initial period of 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
