The Role:As a Financial Plan & Analysis Senior Analyst at Accenture, you will be an expert in Accounting & Finance processes. Your responsibilities will include:- Leading and managing a team of 810 FTEs performing FP&A; / RTR functions such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.- Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles in collaboration with business units.- Reviewing and validating financial models and reports to ensure accuracy and relevance.- Providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis.- Driving continuous improvement in FP&A; processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate financial policies.- Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.Functional Responsibilities:- Demonstrating a complete understanding of the Fixed Asset process involving capitalization, additions, retirement, transfer, depreciation, sales, leasing, capital work in progress additions, and accruals, and closing activities.- Ensuring timely processing of all fixed asset requests as per agreed TAT.- Running FA depreciation after including all new assets for the month.- Having a valuable understanding of Fixed asset reconciliation.- Preparing SOPs and obtaining client sign-off.- Performing SLA/KPI reporting and participating in Monthly Governance meetings.- Managing daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting to ensure accurate entries in the general ledger.- Managing and maintaining FP&A; systems, tools, and applications supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.- Designing and developing automated data pipelines, dashboards, and templates for financial planning, budgeting,
and forecasting.- Supporting accurate and timely maintenance of FP&A; master data.- Providing user support and documentation for finance users training needs.- Assessing materiality and volatility of financial statement line items and key metrics utilizing financial ratios to determine the financial health of the company.What are we looking for As a candidate, you should have:- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting functions.- A minimum bachelors degree in finance accounting, with Inter CA / ICWA being an added advantage.- Valuable knowledge of Financial Plan.- Team handling experience is a must.People Management Responsibilities:- Managing a team of 8-10 FTEs overall for RTR / FPNA.- Playing the role of trainer/coach for new joiners/freshers and CL 11/12 resources.- Holding monthly meaningful conversations with team members to discuss performance, coaching and feedback, training needs, and career discussions.- Publishing monthly scorecard and performance feedback.- Motivating the team through regular appreciation for good work and team-building activities.- Working with the CD team for enhancing communication/soft skills of team members.- Delegating tasks to develop and groom team members for succession planning.- Acting as second in command in the absence of the immediate supervisor of the process.- Ensuring work allocation and timely completion of tasks.- Demonstrating adaptability,
flexibility, and the ability to perform under pressure.System & Applications:- Experience working in SAP ERP would be an added advantage.- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word.Communication & Interpersonal Skills:- Ability to interact with client SMEs for daily operational activities.- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as you will need to interact with various stakeholders via calls and emails.- Working closely with the team to drive process and organizational initiatives.- Communicating effectively both orally and in writing to influence others through one-on-one conversations and governance calls with clients.Roles and Responsibilities:- Analyzing and solving increasingly complex problems.- Interacting with peers within Accenture and possibly with clients and/or Accenture management.- Being given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments.- Making decisions that impact your own work and may impact the work of others.- Serving as an individual contributor and/or overseeing a small work effort and/or team.- Note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts.
