Role Overview:You will be joining our trucking operations team in Patiala as a Dispatcher. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate daily freight movements, schedule drivers, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of loads. Your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our transportation network and delivering excellent service to our customers.Key Responsibilities:- Assign and schedule loads to company drivers and owner-operators- Plan routes and optimize efficiency for on-time deliveries- Communicate load details, pickup and delivery instructions to drivers- Monitor truck locations and proactively resolve any delivery issues- Maintain records of dispatch activity, driver hours, and delivery status- Coordinate with customers and warehouse teams for smooth loading/unloading- Handle driver inquiries and provide support throughout the day- Ensure compliance with safety and company policiesQualifications Required:- Minimum 2 years of experience as a dispatcher in a trucking or logistics setting- Strong understanding of trucking routes, geography, and load planning- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting- Proficiency with dispatch or TMS software (preferred)- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail- Flexible to work shifts, if requiredCompany Details:The benefits offered for this position include health insurance.
