Role Overview:You will be working as a Global Product Specialist (GPS) within the Global Product Group (GPG) Power Transformers at Hitachi Energy. Your main responsibility will involve collaborating with the Global Product Manager (GPM) for Industrial & Specialty (I&S;) Transformers, as well as working closely with R&D; centers, Hubs, and local business teams to enhance existing solutions and drive new product developments based on customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze market trends, international standards, and customer needs to identify opportunities for portfolio improvement- Conduct competitor analyses to identify technical product gaps and enhance competitiveness- Manage technical specifications of Industrial and Specialty Power Transformers and support in developing business cases- Collect and share market data to drive new product development and support product roadmap- Prepare technical communication materials for product launches and market positioning- Keep stakeholders informed on Industrial and Specialty transformers including market trends and quality- Provide support for data quality improvement, sales activities, customer meetings, and trade shows- Ensure availability of training materials for Industrial and Specialty transformers with focus on Offshore Substation and Subsea TransformersQualifications Required:- MSc or BSc in Engineering- Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer engineering and/or research & development- Technical knowledge of transformer portfolio,
