The role of the Kong Administrator will be to manage the Kong Control Plane, Data Plane and clusters. They will also be required to manage, maintain and create recent plugins in Lua language as may be needed by business.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The key responsibility of Kong Administrator will be to take full ownership of existing Kong Gateway & Kong Developer Portal installations. They will be responsible for ensuring that any existing APIs onboarded on the gateway are performing as per organization’s performance benchmarks. They will also have to ensure that any newly developed APIs are onboarded in a safe and secure manner in Kong Gateway. The upkeep of Kong Developer Portal is also a part of this role.
Education & Certificates:
- BE/BTech/BCA/MCA
- Kong Certification
Experience & Skills:
- Must have worked on at least two large Kong Gateway implementation projects
- Must have excellent understanding of APIs, security and authentication mechanisms
