The Opportunity:
ApplyBoard is seeking a Workday HCM & Payroll Functional Analyst to support one of our school partners in Florida. This role serves as the functional owner of HCM and Payroll business processes end to end.
You will translate how People and Payroll teams need to operate into scalable, well-governed Workday configurations. You will ensure data accuracy, maintain audit-ready processes, and continuously improve how we manage the full hire-to-retire and pay lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:
Core HCM and position management
- (Support life-cycle HCM business processes) (recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, payroll,) Hire-to-retire: job requisition, hire, onboarding, change job, transfers, leaves, termination, and offboarding
- Organization, supervisory, and position management, including headcount governance and position restrictions
- Business Process Framework: approval routing, condition rules, validation rules, and notifications
- EIBs, integration of data validation, and data conversion experience
- Configure Workday business processes and workflows
- Test and deploy system updates and enhancements
- Troubleshoot user issues and system errors
- Manage security roles and permissions
- Coordinate with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and vendors
