Role Overview:Hanwha Ocean is seeking a Lead Structural Designer to conduct structure design and drafting mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities, under the supervision of Principal/Lead Engineer or Principal Designer. As a part of the Offshore Business Division, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional project execution and knowledge-driven operational models by integrating the upstream cultures of Asia, Europe, and America.Key Responsibilities:- Lead Structural Design Team to deliver structural 2D drawings & 3D modelling.- Conduct structure detailing, drafting & 3D modelling.- Develop Structure Design Database in Engineering Management Platform.- Participate in model reviews and comment closure.- Review Vendor Documents related to structure details required for development of drawings.- Ensure As-Built Structural drawings & 3D model.- Mentor senior & junior designers.Qualifications:- Minimum 15 years experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry.- Minimum 7 years experience at FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor.- Minimum 1 FPSO / FLNG/ Offshore EPCI Project experience as a Structural Designer.- Well Versed with Structure Design Tool such as AutoCAD, AVEVA / E3D/ PDMS.- ITI/ Draftsmanship/ Diploma in engineering (preferably Civil) or Equivalent.- Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities.- Good in English, with robust oral and written communication skills.
