As the Associate Manager, you will be responsible for managing Indias end-to-end Payroll Operations, along with the payrolls of other APAC countries. You will also lead a team of 2-3 team members.**Overall Responsibilities:**- Independently plan and implement new country payrolls, including vendor coordination, process design, and employee record management- Develop, train, and maintain procedural and user guides- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions- Monitor and review payroll spreadsheets and reporting for accuracy and data integrity- Analyze and recommend improvements to data storage and maintenance- Research and interpret country regulations, act as an advisor to team members and HR partners, and ensure global payroll compliance- Partner with HR representatives to ensure appropriate data collection for employee setup with outsourced payroll vendors- Provide global support to HRBPs, Benefits, Business managers, and internal and external partners**Payroll Operations Responsibilities:**- Lead global payroll projects, new country entry activities, and ensure global payroll compliance- Process regional payrolls with outsourced vendors, ensure compliance per country regulations, and implement process improvements- Collect and validate payroll inputs, work closely with vendors, and ensure SLAs are adhered to- Partner with financial controllership teams for reconciliation of payroll related General Ledger accounts- Mentor new team members, administer quarterly and yearly payroll-related activities and reporting- Manage end-to-end payroll process, payroll tax activities, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations- Work with Accounts Payable for payroll/benefits vendor and other HR-related invoices**Who You Are:**- Knowledge of India Federal, State,



local payroll policies and procedures or similar relevant experience- Experience in handling a team of at least 2-3 members- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in end-to-end payroll operations/administration- Bachelors in business administration or equivalent relevant degree- Working knowledge of employment/labour, payroll, tax, and regulatory laws- Experience with HRIS and Payroll systems (Workday/ADP preferred)About Expedia Group:Expedia Group powers travel globally through its platform.
