We are seeking an experienced Data Conversion Developer with solid expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementations. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end data migration activities including extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading of data from legacy systems into Oracle EBS. The role requires strong technical, analytical, and functional understanding of enterprise data structures and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops new programs or makes changes to existing programs, according to business requirements. This will be in the areas of, but not limited to: Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions, and Workflow.
- Leads requirement gathering meetings with business users. Assists business users with deciding on system configuration and setup of new and existing modules.
- Works with all of Oracle’s development tools to resolve issues and build custom applications. Performs design and development of custom solutions for gaps identified by business users.
- Prepares test environments for business use after cloning activity. Works with Oracle support staff and business users to develop resolutions for application issues.
- Investigates use of Application modules not in use as well as study Application modules in use.
- Level 2 production support by troubleshooting issues and working rapidly to provide a workaround or resolution to the stated issue and End user Support can include using sqlldr to refresh tables for business reporting or for projects.
