Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure full compliance with national/local EHS regulations, statutory requirements, permits, and codes.
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and internal/external assessments.
- Ensure compliance with environmental norms and statutory reporting requirements.

EHS Systems, SOPs & Emergency Preparedness
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS procedures, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
- Maintain and inspect fire protection systems (hydrants, extinguishers, alarms, detectors, emergency lighting).
- Coordinate fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency preparedness activities, ensuring timely servicing and certification of fire safety equipment.

Contractor Safety Management
- Manage contractor safety through PTW, JHA, WMS reviews, and continuous performance monitoring.
- Conduct competency assessments and ensure adherence to protected work practices.

Incident Management & Safety Culture
- Investigate reportable and non-reportable incidents using established tools.




- Prepare detailed incident reports with corrective and preventive actions; track closure to prevent recurrence.
- Promote HAZINER and safety concern reporting to strengthen proactive hazard identification.
- Communicate key learnings across teams to enhance safety culture.

Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS induction, refresher training, and competency evaluations for employees and contractors.
- Develop toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness programs to improve safety behaviour and risk awareness.

Audits, Inspections & Monitoring
- Plan and execute internal EHS audits, 5S audits, and routine site inspections.
- Support external audits by certification bodies, clients, and corporate teams.
- Coordinate weekly 5S and safety audits across Bangalore locations.
- Conduct environmental monitoring (air, water, noise, illumination, ventilation) and maintain statutory records.
