We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance professional to join our team. The
Accountant/ Associate - Finance will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks,
including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate
should have a robust understanding of financial principles, excellent quantitative skills, and the ability
to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices,
reconciling receipts, payments, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into accounting software
and spreadsheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account
reconciliations.
- TDS & GST filings.
- Ensure correct withholding Tax/ TDS are deducted from the supplier's payment and booked.
- Book input GST claims wherever applicable.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements,
including profit and loss
statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Provide support for audits and financial reviews as needed.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
