Job Overview

The Connected Living Solutions business unit is currently seeking a proven Sr Manager Manufacturing and Development Engineering to provide strategic direction and leadership for our India based Manufacturing and Development Engineering Team. The team will be comprised of process leaders for stamping, molding, and industrial engineering, ensuring launched processes are optimized for quality, output, and cost. They design and develop manufacturing processes and apply them for the realization of new product introductions as well as the optimization of industrialized products. The team also supports Product Development in the selection and optimization of tools for piece part production and the selection of the most suitable manufacturing concepts related to planned manufacturing quantities, quality requirements and manufacturing location.



They act as the interface between product engineering and production to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp up, as well as support the research & development teams to produce sample manufacturing equipment, product samples and prototypes.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Manufacturing Development Engineers responsible for LEANPD driven new product development projects, focusing on the key deliverables of LOT (Launch on Time), LOQ (Launch on Quality) and LOC (Launch on Cost).
- Promoting Operational Excellence through the timely execution of projects/initiatives related to tool launch effectiveness, quality, productivity, innovation, and talent.
- Actively managing resource allocation and capacities to ensure key recent product development are executed to critical milestones.
