About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect with deep expertise across Azure and AWS data ecosystems to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of modern, scalable, and secure data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mix of technical leadership, hands-on solutioning, and client engagement skills — capable of driving end-to-end data modernization initiatives from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Delivery

Design, architect, and implement cloud-native data platforms on Azure and AWS.

Build data lakehouse solutions using Azure Synapse, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Delta Lake.

Lead the development of ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS Glue, and PySpark.

Architect federated data access solutions using Trino, Athena, or Synapse Serverless for cross-platform data querying.

Define best practices for data modeling, partitioning, cataloging, and metadata management.

Oversee data governance, compliance, and security frameworks using Azure Purview, Lake Formation, IAM, RBAC, and encryption standards.

2. Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

Collaborate with sales and business teams during RFPs, RFIs, and client discovery sessions.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs for prospective clients.

Lead the creation of Proof of Concept (PoC) environments to showcase platform capabilities.

Draft technical proposals, architecture blueprints, solution diagrams, and effort estimates.

Translate client requirements into scalable, cost-productive, and secure cloud architectures.

3. Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor and guide data engineers and developers on best practices in cloud data architecture.
