The Senior FF&E; Designer leads the FF&E; activities for non-complex projects in the UAE design center. The jobholder ensures an effective and aesthetic FF&E;, which accommodates the requirements of the client, local authorities, architectural standards and codes of practice and the requirements of other disciplines. The Senior FF&E; Designer develops FF&E; sketches and prepares paints and fabric samples and color palettes for non-complex FF&E; projects. The jobholder also selects and designs furnishings, artwork, accessories and internal signage packages for non-complex FF&E; projects. He shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the FF&E; field and represent the firm and share his expertise and knowledge with other team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the management of client relations and expectations on non-complex FF&E; projects, as needed
- Support Project Managers in client presentations and workshops, as needed
- Support Project Managers with responding to client clarifications and technical issues on non-complex FF&E; projects, as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction with FF&E; deliverables
- Support the collection of internally available data to support project execution
- Lead discussions with clients to determine criteria guiding FF&E;, including budgets, preferences, etc. for non-complex FF&E; projects
- Develop FF&E; sketches, prepare paints and fabric samples and color palettes for non-complex projects, for discussions with clients
- Estimate material requirements and costs of different FF&E; options for non-complex projects
- Refine selected design options into preliminary and detailed designs, including all required drawings and reports
- Support design value engineering for non-complex projects, as needed
- Select and design furnishings, artwork, accessories and internal signage packages for non-complex FF&E; projects
- Support project teams with the development of the specifications for materials, finis
