This role blends both front-end and back-end development since there is no clear borderline between the two: front-end devs often lack extra back-end skills, and the other way round. You are required to have in-depth knowledge of every level of the web creation process, which includes Linux server’s set-up and configuration, creating server-side APIs, making JavaScript-codes that power apps, etc.

- Design overall architecture of the application
- Maintain quality and ensure the responsiveness of applications
- Maintain code integrity and organization
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document and deploy changes to the system
- Participate in deployment planning/ Participate in project planning
Requirements:
- Highly experienced with back-end programming languages--- Java, J2EE, and JDBC
- Good experience with ORM frameworks like Spring MVC, Hibernate, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with cloud-based services like AWS and GCP
- Good exposures to RESTful API concept, and JSON
- Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Ajax is a must
- Good knowledge of development tools such as SVN, GIT, etc.
- 1 year of experience in the banking or financial services domain is a must
- Good communication skills are important so as to enable efficient and smooth working
